Catherine enjoys presenting mixed programmes of familiar and less familiar cello and piano music to audiences, with entertaining anecdotes about the music. A particular interest is in works by 19th & 20th century British women composers.
Her repertoire includes the great works for cello and piano of the Europeantradition, such as those of Bach, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Brahms, Rachmaninov, Franck, Schumann, Fauré, Saint-Saëns and Glazunov, extending to the Shostakovitch, Prokofiev, Barber, Bridge and Rawsthorne Sonatas and Nadia Boulanger's Three Pieces.
